VetCRYL MONO sutures are manufactured from a copolymer of poly (glycolic-co-ε caprolactone) (PGCL) which are biodegradable and bioabsorbable. This means that they are made of a single strand of material and have a smooth surface that reduces tissue irritation and trauma during placement and removal. They also have excellent knot security and handling characteristics, making them easy to use in surgery.
